Emilee Keppelmann

A true animal lover, Emilee grew up with a German shepherd her parents rescued from a humane society. She currently has a Golden Doodle named Archie and two cats, Coco and Carmel. As a child, Emilee’s favorite author was, and still is, Roald Dahl.

Emilee believes that animals have an exceptional ability to provide unconditional love; they create a wonderful judgment-free space for us.

Emilee is a veterinary assistant, currently awaiting her admittance to UW-Madison Veterinary School. Besides spending time with her own animals, Emilee enjoys hiking, camping and traveling all around the world! Reading, of course, is in her regular routine.

A word of advice for the Taradiddle writers: Don’t stop writing! When you get an idea, write whatever comes to mind. You will appreciate having these thoughts written down later. Creativity can be sparked by anything!

Emilee is pictured here with Joey, a dog she worked with in Thailand who was rescued from the illegal meat trade.
